I stumbled across this article today. “Secret Santas” in Charlotte, NC are giving away $10,000 (of their own money) in $100 bills. They’ve been doing it for the past few years around the holidays. Be sure to look at the full slideshow of pictures. The comments people have made are interesting, too.

Well, I followed the links, hoping to read the full story and view the photos, but ended up at a dead end, where I was informed that the page no longer existed on Yahoo News, or had expired. If anyone finds another link, please let me know, or post it here! It sounds WONDERFUL, and what my spirits need! These festive times are hard on a lot of people, and on people who have fairly solitary lives, like me, but who LOVE being in the thick of it!

The picture of your coats truly put in perspective, doesn’t it.
I didn’t realize you were still doing this – I have been gone for a while, but I was heartened to read this story.
